Speed Learning

peed Learning is an informal, small-group approach that has been very successful in the past. How it works: The meeting will be broken up into four 25-minute time blocks. Before each block begins, you choose which topic you want to learn more about. When the timer goes off, the time block is over, and it’s time to choose again. there will be a board similar to the one shown in the accompanying images showing when each topic is being covered, so you can plan your own night of learning. Our speed learning teacher lineup is in the works, and we are looking for volunteers who want to share their expertise with the group. If you would like to be a teacher, reach out to Shawn Pierce or Jared Plante. As far as what is covered, we want to hear from you! Let us know your questions or which topics you’d like to see covered in the comments. Things we’ve covered in the past but are willing to discuss again, Lightroom, Photoshop, the art of running a business, covered bridges, landscapes, portraits, off camera flash, lighting, filters, equipment, and the exposure triangle, to name a few.
